Daniel Naymark was an instructor at Osgoode Hall Law School’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Week, a renowned annual trial skills training course that is a rite of passage of sorts for Canadian litigators. The 2022 course took place in Toronto from July 11-15.

Jamie Gibson presents at Securities Symposium

Jamie Gibson presented at the Tenth Annual Securities Symposium held by The Advocates’ Society, on a panel entitled “The Ontario Securities Commission: The Decade in Review”. Together with former Staff colleagues from the Enforcement Branch of the Commission, Jamie discussed recent developments in securities investigations and proceedings from the defence perspective, including: the challenges with big data in cryptocurrency-related investigations by the Commission, recent developments in credit for cooperation given by Staff, and the challenges posed by the new virtual Commission hearings.
